James "Jim" H. Millirons, Sr., of Morrow, passed away on April 7, 2021. He was born on January 21, 1931 in Fyffe, AL to the late Andrew Millirons and Annie Belle Strange Millirons. A graveside service will be held at Morrow Cemetery on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm. His son, Dr. James Millirons, Jr. will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm. Social distancing and masks are preferred at this time.

Jim served in the U.S. Army for twenty-three years as a helicopter pilot. After retiring as Major, he pursued further professional ventures including Commercial Real Estate, City Manager of Morrow, as well as serving the community as Mayor.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Millirons. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Millirons Hayman (Mike) of Orlando, FL; sons, Michael Imes of O'Fallon, IL, Dr. James H. Millirons , Jr. (Elizabeth) and Paul Brandon Millirons (Sarah) of Madison, WI, 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life this summer with the date to be determined.
