William "Dick" Cooper

William "Dick" Cooper, of Stockbridge, passed away on October 2, 2020.  Services will be held at Honey Creek Baptist Church on Monday, October 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Chet Cooper, Rev. Robert Vines, and Dr. Mark Ernst will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 11:30am- 1:00pm, prior to service. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clayton and Nettie Cooper and his brothers, Ray Cooper and Kenneth Cooper.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Marie Cooper; daughters, Vicki Martone (Steve) of Alamogordo, NM, Cindy Ernst (Mark) of Stockbridge, and Jodie Howard (Jeff) of Stockbridge; sons, Chris Cooper of Stockbridge and Chet Cooper (Annette) of Roberta; sisters, Joyce Cooper of Blairsville, Sarah Foster of Blairsville, and Judy Hunter of Loganville; 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
