Sara Bearden Anderson, born Sara Dean Speir in Atlanta, Georgia January 2, 1929 to A. H. Speir and Alberta Jinks Speir. She was first a loving daughter and sister to eight brothers and sisters and then a loving wife to J.D. Bearden and Robert Anderson. In her lifetime she lived through the great depression, World War II, and many other historical and cultural changes. She worked as an accountant, she loved to cook and sew, and play Gin Rummy. She was a wonderful, loving, southern lady whose number one priority was to take care of her family. She is survived by her son Jim, daughter Rachel, and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Forest Park Primitive Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 1:00 pm.
