Roy Dean Chappelear, Jr., of McDonough, passed away on October 12, 2018. A memorial service will be held at Sardis Baptist Church, 2120 Keys Ferry Rd, McDonough, GA 30252 on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Tommy Kennedy will be officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father Roy D. Chappelear, Sr. He is survived by his mother, Elaine Gordon (Jim) of McDonough; daughter, Savannah Chappelear of Marietta; son, James Dean Chappelear of Canton; sisters, Sherry Hansard of Monroe and Crystal Delacruz of Snellville; brother, Scott Chappelear of Duluth; several nieces and nephews.
