Robert Earl Hammond

Robert E. Hammond, 91, retired District Chief Clayton County Fire Department and retired Assistant Chief Forest Park Fire Department, passed away April 4, 2023. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 1:00pm in the chapel. Dr. Michael Hammond and Dr. Tommy Aman officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park GA. The family will receive friends Monday, April 10, 2023  from 5:00-7:00pm. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters Marlena Cook (Jerry), Pamela Ruff, Linda Bivens (Mark), Peggy Lovelady (Wayne); daughter in law K.C. Winkler; sons Ronald Hammond (Nita), Dr. Michael Hammond (Martha), Bruce Hammond (Linda), Larry Hammond, James Hammond; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by wife Mary Elizabeth Hammond, son Phillip Hammond and grandson Jeremy Reeves.
