Priscilla Ann
Berry
April 28, 1947 — June 22, 2026
The world got a little quieter and a lot less colorful on June 22, 2026 when Priscilla Ann Berry, known to friends and family as mom, Nanny or Cilla decided it was time to move on to the ultimate party in heaven.
She was born on April 28, 1947 to Dallas Henry Gray and Laverne Hammock Gray. At age 79, Priscilla passed away peacefully leaving a legacy of laughter, mischief and love.
Priscilla never lost her sense of humor or her love of family, Jesus, and her dogs, Snickers, Benji and Rolo. She was always the life of the party.
Professionally, Priscilla worked as office manager for Turpin Inc. alongside her best friend, Judy Turpin before retiring.
Priscilla is survived by her partner in crime for over 55 years, Jessie Wayne Berry; children, Shellie (Lee) Bennett, David (Kellie) Berry, Charles (Teresa) Berry, as well as a couple of bonus children, Kendra Beamer and Katelyn Berry as well as several others; grandchildren, Davy (Perri) Berry, Joshua (Kaylee) McNorton, Amanda Berry, Michael (Elaine) Bain, Dustin Gray, Kelly (Jonathan) Gray, Jessica (Ruben) Barker, Lacy Walker, Gage Beamer, Tyler (Sarah) Thompson, Jake (Victoria) Thompson, Joshua (Amber) Thompson, many great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was welcomed into eternity by her grandchildren, Heath Simpson and Brittney Berry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Lee Morgan will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6 pm - 8 pm.
We ask that you leave your suits and somber ties at home and join us in celebrating Priscilla's life by wearing casual attire or something that would remind you of her to celebrate the vibrant life she lived.
