Precious Ifeoma Uzokwe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Precious Ifeoma Uzokwe, a beloved graphic designer who dedicated her life to helping others. Precious was born on September 30, 1992, in Riverdale, Georgia, and suddenly left us on May 27, 2024, in Ellenwood, Georgia.
 
Precious's presence will be deeply missed by all those who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a beacon of light in her community, known for her selfless nature, boundless generosity, and unwavering dedication to making the world a better place. Her impact extended far beyond her professional career as she touched countless lives through her charitable endeavors and volunteer work.
 
Graduating from Georgia State University with a bachelor's degree was just the beginning of Precious's remarkable journey. She channeled her passion for helping others into founding and directing Precious Hands, a charity aimed at supporting underprivileged children by providing them with essential resources and spreading joy during holidays.
 
Her memories will forever be cherished by those who had the pleasure of experiencing her love and compassion firsthand. From contributing towards her sister's medical education to serving meals at homeless shelters, organizing events with various community organizations like College Park Thanksgiving Association to collaborating with Star Family Healthcare & Wellness Center, Precious left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.
 
In her leisure time, Precious found solace in reading the bible, exploring through travel - especially to Africa to visit family and friends - enjoying the serenity of the beach, admiring flowers at Callaway Gardens, and most of all savouring moments spent surrounded by loved ones. Her fervent dedication to uplifting others and her infectious positivity brightened the lives of everyone around her.
 
Though she was taken from us suddenly, Precious's legacy will endure through the countless lives she touched and the memories she created. Her spirit of giving and unwavering kindness will continue to inspire us all.
 
Precious is survived by her loving parents Dr. Ralph & Dr. Helen Uzokwe; her brothers Charles Uzokwe and Bradley Uzokwe; her sister Dr. Michelle Uzokwe; uncle George Onyejiaka; aunts Professor Uche Uzokwe Igbadi;  Ifeoma Okeke, Ify Uzokwe, Chinwe Olisa, Uju Uzokwe, Kanene Pattimore, Anne Kalu, Daisy Madu Chikwendu; and Chinwe Onyejiaka; numerous cousins and many other friends.
 
A visitation will be held on June 15th starting at 10:00 AM followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors in Morrow, Georgia with Dr. Apostle Frederick Ako-Arrey officiating. The interment will take place at Morrow Cemetery following the service.
 
As we mourn the loss of a truly remarkable individual today, let us also celebrate the extraordinary life of Precious Ifeoma Uzokwe - a shining example of love, compassion, and selflessness that will live on in our hearts forever.
