Peter William Sandford, Sr.

Peter W. Sandford, Sr., of Whitesburg, passed away on July 16, 2022. Services will be held at First Christian Church of Jonesboro on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Lie in state at 11:00 am. Bro. Wade Hall will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 pm to 7:30 pm.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son, Eddy Sandford (Tina) of Whitesburg; sister, Victoria Mitchell (Doug) of Loganville; brother, Tom Sandford of Australia; grandchildren, Eddy Sandford and Kimberly Barnett (Ryan); great grandchildren, Kara Barnett and Nathaniel Barnett.
