Mary Helen Purvis

Mary "Helen" Purvis, of Forest Park, passed away on November 7, 2019. Mrs. Purvis was an avid gardener with a green thumb. She absolutely loved to work in the garden. Services for Mrs. Purvis will be held in our chapel on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Bro. Venny Miller will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service from 12pm-1pm. 

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bob Purvis; her daughter, Beth Purvis Carven; and her brother, Oliver Hall. She will be missed by her daughter, Cathy Purvis of Forest Park; sisters, Margie Hollst Stagg of McDonough and Cheryl Lynne Hollst Harper (Cecil) of Mauk, Ga., numerous nieces and nephews.
