Mary Ann Flynn

Mary Ann Flynn, 79, of Fayetteville, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. A memorial Service will be held in her honor on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Thomas Scroggs Funeral Directors Chapel with Pastor Mark McKee officiating. A visitation for family and friends to gather will take place one hour before the service. 

Mary Ann Flynn is survived by her sister, Connie Ridgeway & her husband, Johnny of Rex, GA; niece, Lynn Fernandez of McDonough, GA; nephew, Kevin Ridgeway & wife, Mandy of Senoia, GA; great-nephews, Johnathan Kitchens & wife, Whitney of Rockmart, GA and Brady Ridgeway of Senoia, GA.; great-nieces, Anna Stacy & husband, Cory of McDonough, GA., Ella Ridgeway of Senoia, GA, and Lily Ridgeway of Senoia, GA; and many cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver & Anne Flynn and her nephew, Gary Fernandez.

Mary Ann Flynn was born on Sunday, April 16, 1944 in Atlanta, GA to Oliver & Anne Flynn. She had a close personal relationship with God. She worshipped at Victory Baptist Church and was an active member at Rock Springs Baptist Church. Mary Ann was an avid reader, enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and making baby blankets. She also enjoyed collecting porcelain dogs, baby dolls, and cows. She had a servant’s heart and loved helping people in need. Mary Ann was a loving and kind soul and you always knew where you stood with her. Her presence will be forever missed.
