Marvin L. Wilson, Marine veteran, of Forest Park, passed away on December 13, 2020. Mr. Wilson was born on January 21, 1931 in Trion, Ga., to the late Harvey C. Wilson and Mary Treadway Wilson. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 11:00 am. Pastor Mike Freeman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends prior to service beginning at 9:00 am.
He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Wilson and his daughter, Janice Miller. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Juanita Wilson; daughters, Inez Pilgrim Garrett (Timothy) of Ellenwood and Samantha Casteel (James) of Williamson; sons, Ron Wilson (Ginger) of Calhoun, Don Wilson (Patricia) of Carrollton, Stephen Wilson of Stockbridge, Brent Wilson of Forest Park, and Michael Wilson of McDonough; 17 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
