Marie McCall Ellis

Marie McCall Ellis, of Hapeville, Georgia, passed away peacefully on May 16 th. She was born in LaGrange, Georgia, on November 7 th, and spent her life devoted to her family, her work, and her passions.

Marie leaves behind her beloved children, Anne Ragan and Grant Barnette, and her dear sister, Anna Serrell.

For over 30 years, Marie worked with dedication and heart at Woodward Academy, where she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues. She was also a published author, a lover of literature, and a devoted companion to her dog, Joe.

Marie will be remembered for her quiet strength, her sharp mind, and the warmth she brought to all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at her home on Saturday, May 24th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
