Margaret Diane Holland, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2023. She was the youngest daughter of Robert & Margaret Holland and leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love and dedication.

Born on May 30, 1952, Margaret lived a life dedicated to serving and caring for others. For 25 years, she drove the school bus for Dekalb County, ensuring the safe transportation of countless young minds. Her commitment to this role went beyond simply driving; she became a familiar face to generations of students who entrusted their safety to her capable hands.

In addition to her work as a bus driver, Margaret also spent numerous years honing her skills in the beauty industry. With her warm personality and skilled craftsmanship, it was no surprise that clients flocked to have their hair styled or nails painted at the salon where she worked. Her attention to detail and ability to make others feel beautiful always left a lasting impression.

Outside of work, Margaret had a vibrant array of hobbies and interests that brought her joy. Her all-time favorite singer was Elvis Presley, whose music never failed to lift her spirits. Often seen with meticulously painted nails, Margaret took great delight in expressing herself through nail colors. Playing card games with family and friends was another passion she cherished dearly - these moments filled with laughter made for treasured memories.

When it came to leisure, Margaret found solace in exploring beach destinations and trying her luck at casinos. Whether strolling along sandy shores or testing her luck at the slot machines, these adventures allowed her to unwind and create lasting memories with loved ones.

Margaret Diane Holland is survived by her only child, daughter Selena Holland ; four grandchildren Jesse Mills Organ, Travis Kemp, DJ and Ashton Brownlee; great granddaughter Makayla Kemp; sisters Louise Harvey and Rose Rutledge. She is preceded in death by her brother Lawrence Edward Holland. Their lives were forever enriched by her unwavering love and support.
