Lucille "Lucy" Nance Joiner, 86, of Jonesboro GA, passed away August 19, 2023, Funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at 11AM, First Baptist Church of Forest Park. Rev. Phil Gilbert officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends August 22, 2023 from 5PM-7PM at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors.
She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Jan Starr (Terry); son Michael Joiner (Denise); grandchildren Adam Starr (Abbie), Benjamin Starr (Stephanie), Joseph Starr (Audra), Jillann Starr, Blake Joiner (Jasmine), Anderson Joiner (Sami), Brenda Joiner, Nance Dorsey (Marcus), Bennett Joiner, Austin Joiner, Micah Joiner, Lucy Joiner; great grandchildren, Tacie Starr, Ollie Starr, Eli Starr, Zeke Starr, August Starr, Elliott Starr, and Dean Joiner; numerous nieces and nephews.
Lucy is preceded in death by her parents Fred & Eunice Nance, spouse of 53 years Lloyd Joiner, daughter, Jill Joiner and son, Greg Joiner.
