Lawton Arthur Howard

Lawton Arthur Howard, age 65 of Morrow Ga, passed away on Saturday, June 28,2025 while at Grady Memorial Hospital, surrounded by loving family.

Lawton was born on January 28, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia to Joseph and Loraine Howard.

Lawton attended Sylvan High School in Atlanta Ga. Lawton but quit high school in the 10th grade to go to work and help his mother. Lawton married Teresa Lynn Smallwood on April 12 2019 in Orlando Florida. at the Orlando Tow Show. This was not their intention, but thanks to Gary Rochester and his girls, that demo quickly became their wedding venue and the rest is history.

Lawton is preceded in death by his parents and his son Chris. Lawton is survived by his wife Teresa and son Robert (Barbara)Joey and Tony, Samantha ( Joe) and Miranda. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and two great Grand children

Lawton started learning about towing at the age of 14. Which was his first time in a wrecker with Earl  Milerons.. From, there Lawton developed a love for towing and recovery. His business grew so much that in November 2000 Lawton and Susie started another towing service, New Image Towing and Recovery, and from there they grew to be called Superb towing and recovery. Lawton was a mentor, teacher, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He will be surely missed.

Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at 1:00 PM and The Morrow Civic Center. There will be a visitation 2 hour prior at the Civic Center.
