Obituary

Kenneth Parker, a beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 25, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on July 26, 1951, Kenneth redefined what it meant to embrace life with both humility and passion. A proud graduate of Forest Park High School in Forest Park, Georgia, class of 1969, he carried his Southern roots with pride throughout his life.

As a Navy veteran, Kenneth developed a profound love for the ocean, which became a backdrop for many cherished memories. He found solace and inspiration aboard his boat, where he often spent quiet moments reflecting on life and finding peace. This cherished hobby, sometimes described as an obsession, intertwined beautifully with his faith, as he believed these times were spent in communion with The Lord.

Kenneth's love for music was evident from an early age; he played the trombone in his high school marching band. However, as life unfolded, he found a new way to express himself musically through the organ. Friends and family could often be heard commenting on the joy he brought when playing for gatherings at home or during services at his church, creating a cherished atmosphere filled with warmth and love.

His enthusiasm for sports was infectious. A dedicated fan of the University of Georgia Bulldogs, he was equally passionate about his time in Florida, where he became an avid supporter of the Tampa Bay Rays. This unique blend of loyalties reflected the balance he struck between his two homes.

Kenneth leaves behind a legacy that is marked not only by his professional journey as a devoted truck driver, but also by the loving relationships he cultivated. He was the proud father of six and a doting grandfather to fifteen grandchildren, who will undoubtedly carry forth his spirit and values for generations to come.

He reunites now with his beloved parents, Homer and Mildred Parker, and his brother, Cliff Parker, who predeceased him. Kenneth’s warmth, laughter, and steadfast dedication to his family and friends will be profoundly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. His journey may have ended, but the love he shared and the memories he created will forever echo in the hearts of those he touched.
