Kay Cromer Henley

July 23, 1936 — June 1, 2021

Kay C. Henley, of Morrow, passed away on June 1, 2021. Kay was a life long caregiver from her 60 years of marriage to her husband, Gene to raising two strong willed boys, Rick and Scott to adoring her grandchildren Daniel, Taylor and Jordan to the many she helped in her 35 years of being a nurse. She never met a stranger in her life. She saw the good in everyone and made the best in every situation. Kay and Gene followed dreams together as a team and she was always right by his side through many adventures. They moved around a lot in the beginning of their marriage but ended up settling in their house that Kay made a home in Morrow, Ga. Kay could always make something out of nothing and no one ever did without if she was around. She had a givers heart and enjoyed making others happy anyway she could. Family time was always her favorite and she enjoyed having her children and grandchildren around for any holiday or just a backyard fish fry. She was loved by everyone and will be missed deeply by all. Her smile was infectious and her laugh was contagious. Her stories were epic and painted you a picture of events making you feel like you were right there. We love you and miss you already.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Harvey Henley and her brother, Tony Cromer. She is survived by her sons, Rick Henley (Keturah) of Morrow and Scott Henley of Griffin; grandchildren, Taylor Perry (Dylan), Daniel Henley, Jordan Henley; great grandchild, Waylon Perry.
