Kathy Elaine Farrell, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2024, in Morrow, Georgia. She was born on October 13, 1951, in Houston, Texas. 

Kathy married Martin Lehnis & in 1969; they had one daughter (Lisa). Kathy was widowed by Martin in 2002.

Kathy was a faithful volunteer and supporter of her local VFW in Cleveland, Texas where she met and married Arthur Farrell in 2006. 

Kathy and Arthur enjoyed many wonderful years celebrating the love that they were blessed to find late in their lives.  They enjoyed traveling together and the were avid animal lovers of all kinds. They lived in Cleveland, Texas until their declining health brought them to Morrow, Georgia to live their remaining years in the care of Arthur's youngest daughter  (Marty).  Kathy was widowed by Arthur in 2018. 

Kathy will always be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and selflessness. Her love and generosity touched the lives of those who knew her best. She leaves behind cherished memories that will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving daughters: Marty Nelson of Morrow GA, Lisa Cloud and husband Daryll of Cleveland TX, Margaret Skates of Morrow GA; Brother Johnny Castleberry of TX; Grandchildren: Mike Farrell, Hope Estes, Melisa Wilson, Shauna Harrell; as well as eight adoring great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her grandson Nathan Harrell.

A visitation service to pay tribute to Kathy's remarkable life will take place on February 3rd, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors located at 6362 South Lee St., Morrow GA 30260.

Following the visitation service, a memorial service will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. Friends, family, and acquaintances are invited to join in remembering Kathy's joyful spirit and celebrating her life.

Kathy Elaine Farrell will forever be missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us all.
