Kathryn Burgess, of Villa Rica, passed away on December 26, 2022. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Kenneth Coomer will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends prior to service beginning at 11:00 am.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Smith; son, Johnny Smith; parents, Charlie and Bessie Jett; sisters, Irene Lemley and Violet Hope. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 8 years, Daniel Burgess; daughter, Angela Snipes (David); son, Scott Smith; step-daughter, Bonnie Gentry (Doyle); step-sons, Tony Johnson (Cathy) and David Burgess (Tracey); grandchildren Chad Snipes and Brittaney Snipes Solis; great grandchild, Alana Solis, and several nieces and nephews.
