June Dixon

June Roberta Dixon, 83, of Jonesboro, passed away on April 3, 2021. She was born on June 20, 1937 in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Pete Pitt and Roberta Kate Smallwood Pitt. She loved to read, travel, and spend time with family and friends playing games and doing puzzles.

Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors, on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 12:00 pm. Dr. Tim Houska will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to service beginning at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Pitt and brothers, Kenneth Pitt, Larry Pitt, and Keith Pitt.

She is survived by her daughters, Sheryl Houska (Tim) of McDonough and Debbie Addison (John) of Jonesboro; brothers, Victor Butch Pitt of Dawsonville and Lonnie Pitt (Alice) of Hoschton; grandchildren, Shelby Love (Daniel), Kristy Hopper (Josh), Jason Sikes (Jessica), and Keli Rector (Matthew); great grandchildren, André Sanford, Travis Love, Matthew Love, Isabelle Love, Jaxon Hopper, Katlyn Schoolfield, Dakota Schoolfield, and Olivia Rector; great great granddaughter, Sophia Sanford; numerous nieces and nephews.
