Joy Elizabeth Acker, of Villa Rica, passed away on August 28, 2019. Services will be held in the chapel on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 am. Bro. Steve Strickland will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5 pm - 8 pm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Acker and her son, Michael Acker. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Acker Johnson (Stephen)of Roanoke, AL; son, Jeff Acker (Sandi) of Villa Rica; brother, Harold Strickland of Hampton; grandchildren, Chris Acker (Autumn), Jonathan Acker (Kristen), Brittany Cook (Jonathon), Taylor Johnson; great grandchildren, Kaleb Acker, Colin Acker, James Acker, and Kaitlin Acker; numerous nieces and nephews.
