Joseph C. Lane, of Locust Grove, passed away on August 1, 2019. A graveside service will be held at Salem United Methodist Church on Monday, August 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm. Rev. James Swanger will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 10am-12pm prior to service.
He is survived by his longtime partner, Shannon Vess of Locust Grove; daughter, Destinee Jones (Paul) of Knoxville, TN; son, Brandon Lane (Lindsey) of Locust Grove; sisters, Sylvia Swanger (James) of Stockbridge and Melinda Szatkowski (Eric) of McDonough; brother, Wendell Lane of Lavonia; sister in laws, Bonnie Lane and Wanda Lane; 6 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
