Johnnie Hutson, 97, of Conley, passed away on May 16, 2022. Services will be held in at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service beginning at 11:00 am. She was the oldest member of Tanners Baptist Church in Ellenwood, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie G. and Florence Smith Phillips, her husband of 59 years, Charlie Hutson; son, Stephen Phillip Hutson, sisters, Omie, Laura Belle, Annie, Hazel, and Grace; brothers, Frankie, and Roy. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Brenda Peters of Conley; son, Danny Hutson of Senoia; grandchildren, Kendra Adan (Louis), Krista Perry (Charles), Steven Parker (Rose), and Amanda Hughes (Reggie); great grandchildren, Jonathan Casey, Justin, Summer, Amber, Dakota, Elizabeth, Joshua, Jacob, Austin, Jillian, and Kara, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to White Plains Baptist Church Cemetery fund. The family wants to give a special thank you to Janice Hines and Bridgeway Hospice.
