John V. Perkins, 86, of McDonough, passed away on April 22, 2022. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery, 1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114. The family will be accepting friends prior to service from 9 am - 11 am. He was preceded in death by his former wife and friend, Frankie Mae. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Angela Perkins of McDonough; sons, John Perkins of Macon, and Jeffrey Perkins of Queens, NY; sister, Bernice Smith (Bobby) of Indian Trail, NC, 12 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
