John Darrie Parrott

CPL John D. Parrott, US Marine Corps Veteran, of Forest Park, passed away on April 12, 2018. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Monday, April 16, 2018 at 11:00 am. Dr. Rick Long will be officiating. Interment will follow at Noah's Ark Church-Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 2pm-5pm. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Parrott; sons, David Parrott (Kimberly) of Goose Creek, SC., Jamie Parrott (Ashley) of Wake Forest, NC., and Joseph Parrott (Amanda) of Oklahoma City, OK ; 6 grandchildren, Drew, Caitlin, Grace, Jordan, Jake, and Jeremy; numerous nieces and nephews.If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the general fund of Jones Memorial United Methodist Church, 5320 Phillips Dr, Morrow, GA 30260.
