Janet Wright

Janet Phillips Wright, 87, died January 3, 2019 in Hospice at Emory University Hospital.  Her daughter was at her side holding her hand. Janet was born in Forest Park, Georgia October 13, 1931, to Henry Key and Winnie Orr Phillips.                                                                                           

Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Wright-Starr (Chris); granddaughter, Anna Puerta (Steve); great grandson, Grayson; her brother, Jack (Dianne); and numerous nieces and nephews.She is predeceased by G.L., her husband of 56 years; her parents; brothers, Eugene, James, and Harry and sister, Margaret Gilbert.                                                                                       

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, Friday, January 18 at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Home, 6362 South Lee Street, Morrow, Georgia. The funeral will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 19 at First Baptist Church of Forest Park, 634 Main Street, Forest Park, Georgia followed by the interment at Forest Hills Cemetery, 722 Conley Rd., Forest Park, GA 30297.
