He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Nancy; son, Eric Rose (Stephanie) of Senoia; brothers, Phil Rose (Carol) of TX. and Billy Craddock (Gail) of Griffin; granddaughters, Kayla and Emily Rose; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
