James Dee Purmort

James Dee Purmort, of Forest Park, passed away on November 23, 2018. Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Morrow on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm.  Rev. David Tew, Rev. Jack Harwell, and Dr. Reed Crumbliss will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the church on Wednesday from 11am-1pm.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Denise Swiney, and sister, Jean Crow.

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Sarah Kate Purmort; daughter, Sharon LLorca; son, Lee Purmort; son-in-law, Paul Swiney; grandchildren, Frank King (Melissa), Jim King, Stephen King (Maria Walters), Kevin Swiney (Rose Fisher), Adam Swiney (Ann); great grandchildren, Katelyn Swiney, Joshua Swiney, Maegan Swiney, Lauren Swiney, Aiden Swiney, Teressa King, Mikayla King, and Micah King; sister, Charlene Burr; niece, Debra Fey; nephew, Mickey Trammel; aunt, Joyce Washington; cousin, Vanessa; and caregiver, June Kemp.
