James "Larry" Norris

James Larry Norris, 75, of Stockbridge GA, passed away October 23, 2023. Funeral service will be held Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 11:00AM in the chapel. Rev. Stan Jordan, Rev. Chet Cooper and Chris Cooper officiating. Interment to follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at 10:00AM.

Born in 1948 in Atlanta, GA, Larry graduated from East Atlanta High School in 1966. He was in trucking, driving for over 20 years. He owned 2 car lots and loved old classic cars which he had many over the years. He was a "Mr. Fix It" and loved to work on the cars he owned.

He attended North Henry Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA. Larry loved Jesus and was proud his children loved and served thru this church. He was a great dad and husband. His family was everything to him. He was always there whenever there was a need for his family and extended family.

He will be lovingly remembered by wife Karen; daughters Angie Norris, Britt Thompson (Daryl), Blake Bradley (Austin), Kelly Kallis (Doug); grandchildren Kaitlyn Thompson, Ryker Thompson, Penelopy Thompson, Charlie Bradley; sister Marie Cooper; many beloved beloved nieces and nephews Cindy Ernst (Mark), Vicki Martone (Steve), Chet Cooper (Annette), Jodie Howard (Jeff), Chris Cooper; many great nieces and nephews; cousins; best buddy Johnny O'Neal and cuzz Joel Faulkner.

He is preceded in death by his parents J.C. Norris and Janie Norris.
