James Robert Henson

James R. Henson, 83, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away June 15, 2023. Funeral service will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the chapel. Pastor David Norris II will be officiating. Interment to follow at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday. June 21, 2023 from 4-7 PM at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors.

He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Marie Starr, Tammy Pilgrim, Janet Norris, and her husband, David; sister, Mary Bridges; sister-in-law, Sharon Calloway; 10 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Goforth Henson;  daughter, Tina Henson; brother-in-law, Jerry Bridges; brothers, Tommy Calloway and William Hollis Calloway.
