James Charles Burns, 96, WWII United States Army Air Corps (USAAC) veteran, of McDonough, passed away on January 14, 2021. Mr. Burns was born on January 13, 1925 to the late James Clarence Burns and Lillian Wade Burns. No formal arrangements have been made at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Martha Burns; daughter, Anne Moss (Carey) of McDonough; granddaughter, Michelle Moss, and great granddaughter, Shania Cherry.
