Frank Tanner, of Rex, passed away on November 3, 2022, A memorial service will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 3:00 pm. Rev. Mark Green will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday prior to service beginning at 1:00 pm.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Edythe Tanner; brothers, Lee Tanner and Jim Tanner; sister, Anne Green. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 54 years, Anna Merle Tanner; daughter, Lori Tanner Fenzl (Paul M. Fenzl) of Smyrna; son, Franklin "Lloyd" Tanner (Laina Babb) of Los Osos, CA; sister-in-law, Jean Tanner of Tucker; brothers, Philip Tanner (Fran) of Mt. Juliet, TN and Steve Tanner (Gail) of Roswell; grandchildren, Katharyn Ashley Fenzl and Richard "Paul" Fenzl, numerous nieces and nephews.
