Frank Gordon Burgess

Frank G Burgess, 86, retired Army/Air Force veteran, of Jonesboro, passed away on March 13, 2023. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at 11:00 am. We will go in procession to the Georgia National Cemetery for interment at 2:30 pm. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service beginning at 10:30 am. He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas Procell; twin brother, Thomas Burgess, and by his dearly loved grandparents, Momma and Dada. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Nancy Burgess; sons, Charles Burgess (Rumiko) and Joseph Burgess (Melinda); sister, Barbara Bennett; grandchildren, Daniel Procell (Melissa), Cody Burgess (Tara), Tatsuya Burgess, Emma Burgess, Canon Burgess, and Cason Burgess, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
