Frances Moody Holloway

Frances Moody Holloway went home to be with the Lord on May 8th, 2026. She was born in Decatur, GA on December 20th, 1946. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Calvin Moody and Willie Ogletree Moody; her beloved husband, Richard Holloway SR.; and her son, Doug Holloway JR. She is survived by her four daughters: Donna (Andres) Gonzalez, Diane (Raymond) Bunn, Debbie (Jason) Dispain, and Dawn Hutson; her daughter-in-law, Kimber Holloway; her sister, Betty Patrick; and her brother, Johnny Moody. She was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to 6 great-grandchildren. She was a cherished, retired bus monitor for special-needs children for the Clayton County Board of Education. She loved NASCAR, her dog Mason, and enjoying a nice cold Coke and chili cheese dog at The Varsity. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her family rejoices in knowing she is reunited with her parents, husband, and son.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral home located at 6362 S, Lee St, Morrow, GA. 30260. Visitation hours will be from 1 pm to 2 pm, with the service immediately following, officiated by Pastor Jeff Daws. Burial will follow at Sherwood Memorial located at 6841 Tara Blvd, Jonesboro, GA 30236.
