Dorothy M. Richardson

Dorothy Richardson, of Locust Grove, passed away on November 24, 2019. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Sherwood Memorial Park. Chaplain Francis Thomas will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 pm - 8 pm.

Mrs. Richardson was widowed by her partner, Jimmy Saxton. She retired from Rich's after 35 years. She loved to garden and had a green thumb. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed taking trips to the mountains and the beach with her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Deanie Richardson Asip of Jenkinsburg; son, Tommy Richardson (Cathy) of Newnan; 6 grandchildren, Bridget Merryman (Chris), Jason Richardson, Brent Asip (Whitney), Brandon Asip (Jenny), Matt Richardson, and Rachel Richardson; 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
