Doris J. Cox

Doris Cox, of College Park, passed away on June 30, 2019. Services will be held in the chapel at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 11:00 am. Dr. Tommy Aman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Boiling Springs Primitive Baptist Church-Cemetery, 1200 Birmingham Rd., Alpharetta, Ga 30004. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 5pm-8pm. 

She is survived by her daughters, Doris Juanita Cox of Acworth, Mary Ann Childers (Matt) of Madisonville, TN, Betty Jean Strickland of Rex, Evelyn Mae Cowart of Jonesboro, and Marie Talarico (John) Brownsboro, AL; son, John William Cox (Linda) of McDonough; sisters, Donnie Slappey of Temple and Joyce Apperson of Hampton, numerous grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
