Christopher J. Woodley, Sr.

Christopher J. Woodley, Sr., 66, U. S. Air Force veteran, of McDonough, passed away on April 03, 2022. Mr. Woodley served, alongside his wife, Carol, as a missionary. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church in Morrow. He was born in Chicago, IL on March 5, 1956 to Bernard Woodley and Christine Davis Ward.

Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 11:00 am. Pastor Mike Mayfield and Pastor Mark McKee will be officiating. The family will be receiving friends prior to service beginning at 10:00 am.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Woodley. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Carolina A. Woodley; mother, Christine Ward of Chicago, IL; sons, Christopher J. Woodley, Jr of McDonough and Emmanuel J. Woodley of McDonough; grandchildren, Lincoln Christopher Woodley, and Skylar Monroe Woodley; sisters, Bernadine Davis of Chicago, IL, Cynthia Woodley of Chicago, IL, Patricia Woodley of South Dakota, Angela Woodley of Chicago, IL, Alicia Cummings (Keith) of Chicago, IL, Adriane Ward of Chicago, IL, and Rahsaanica Pearson (Maurice) of Chicago, IL; brothers, Marvin Davis of St. Louis, MO, Darryl Woodley of Minneapolis, MN, Kenneth Woodley of Milwaukee, WI, and Keith Woodley of Chicago, IL.; mother-in-law, Aurora; sisters-in-law, Juvy Harmon (Tim), and Chito of Toms River, NJ, brother-in-law, Cesar of the Philippines, numerous nieces, and nephews, many, many friends.
