Christiner Chandler Thompson

Christiner "Chris" Thompson, 53, of Conley, passed away on April 30, 2022. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Wednesday, May 04, 2022 at 1:00 pm. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 pm - 7 pm. 

He was Army Military Police 1986-1989 Ft. Bragg NC stationed in Panama and Honduras.

Chris, also known as Elvis, was a self proclaimed artist and madman, he had a passion for photography. A true impresario, his love of people and art led him to planning, running and securing events.

He appreciated everyone for their talent, whether it be painting, performance, writing, photography- the list goes on.

Ever respectful of other people's beliefs, he proclaimed to be a follower of Jesus Christ, accepting Him as Lord and Savior. John 3:16.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Lana Beck. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Kimberly Thompson; sons, Kyle Thompson (Stephanie) of McDonough and Joe Thompson (Cameron Marcum) of McDonough; sister, Connie Thompson (Bennett Lyles) of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Wyatt Thompson and Graham Thompson, nephew, Paul Mikell.
