James Clifford Griswell, "Charley", 88, of Stockbridge, passed away on September 5, 2021. His services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 am. Dr. Rick Long will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 pm - 8 pm.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Libby Griswell; sons, Tony Griswell (Theresa) of Forsyth and Mark Griswell (Dana) of Smyrna; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
If so desired, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sacred Journey Hospice, 138 Peach Drive, McDonough, Georgia 30253.
