Paulette Shadix

Paulette Shadix, of Rex, passed away on July 23, 2022. Services will be held in our chapel on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 12:00 pm. Bro. Ronnie Fields will be officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 am to 7 pm.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paulie and Ruth Gilstrap; son, Eddie Shadix; sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn and Frankie Wilson; sister-in-law, Cathy Gilstrap. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 58 years, Claude Shadix; daughters, Crystal Henry (Doug) of Morrow, Tammie Branscomb (Logan) of Forest Park, Heather Shadix (Michael) of Rex; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Shadix of McDonough; sister, Carol Dalton (Terry) of Riverdale; brother, Mark Gilstrap of Acworth; 8 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
