Betty Sample, of Jonesboro, passed away on May 16, 2020. A private burial will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by her father, James Walter Dawson. She is survived by her mother, Agnes Dawson of Atlanta; sisters, Shirley Dawson Kersey (Kevin) of Decatur, Faye Sweat of Guntersville, AL., Nancy Collins of Covington, Edna Dawson of Forest Park, Carol Dawson of Forest Park, Wendy Dawson of Miami, FL., and Sammy Mayes of Jacksonville; numerous nieces and nephews.
