April Shirley Williams

June 3, 1966 — March 5, 2024

Morrow, Georgia

April Shirley Williams was a remarkable woman who filled her life with love, laughter, and a deep dedication to her family. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, on June 3, 1966, April grew up to embody the essence of kindness and nurturing.

Throughout her years, April found joy in the simple pleasures of life. As a dedicated housewife, she found fulfillment in caring for her home and loved ones. Her proudest accomplishment was undoubtedly her family, for whom she poured endless love and support.

Known for her wit and warmth, April's presence could light up any room. Her funny and caring nature left a lasting impact on all who were fortunate enough to know her. She cherished spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren, creating precious memories that will be treasured for generations to come.

April's knack for creating special moments extended to every holiday celebration. She went above and beyond to ensure that each gathering was filled with joy and delicious food. Though she eventually had to pass the torch to Melissa due to health reasons, her legacy of love and generosity lives on in every holiday tradition.

On March 5, 2024, April Shirley Williams bid farewell to this world in Riverdale, Georgia. While we mourn the loss of such a beautiful soul, we find solace in knowing that she is now at peace.

April is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Fred Ledford; her daughter Melissa Amin and son-in-law Mohammad; her mother Rosalee Williams; brothers Charles and Joe Williams; granddaughters April and Mary, and her grandson Abraham Amin; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father James Williams but their love continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew them.

In the gentle embrace of fond memories and the enduring love she shared with all those around her, April Shirley Williams will forever remain a beacon of light in our lives. May we honor her legacy by carrying forward the same love and warmth she so generously bestowed upon us.
