Amanda Gail Chapman, born March 25th, 1971 in Arab, Alabama and a long-time resident of McDonough, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on June 15th, 2026. 

Mandy was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Stanley. She is survived by her husband Dan Chapman, her father Roger Stanley, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, Sorority Sisters and other dear friends. 

Mandy had recently retired from her most recent position with Georgia Power. Mandy loved God and remained a faithful Christian until her passing. He brought her through so many struggles in life, until He was ready for her to come home to Him and be reunited with all those who went before. Mandy loved Disney, as anyone who knew her could tell. It held a special, magical place in her heart that could always bring a smile to her face. She loved to take pictures and would whirl around any gathering she was attending capturing it; deftly directing people where to stand and when to make sure she got the best shot. Mandy loved animals and had many pets throughout her life. Rarely could she pass by a dog or cat without stopping to pet it or talk to it. She leaves behind her beloved miniature dachshund, Lilo.
