Agnes Dawson, 86, of Jonesboro, passed away on December 13, 2022. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Monday, December 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will be receiving friends prior to service beginning at 11:00 am.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Lisa Rose Dawson and Betty Kathleen Dawson Sample and her son, Joseph Todd Dawson, "Joey". She is survived by her daughters, Faye Sweat, Nancy Collins, Shirley Kersey (Kevin), Carol Hunter, Edna Fambro, and Wendy Dawson; son, Sammie Mayes (Divine); sisters, Pearl Smith, Frances Vincent, Martha West (Gene), and Patricia King; brother, David Helms (Peggy), 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
