Adlyn Manragh Singh

Adlyn Manragh Singh (Mama) was called home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021 at the age of 84. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies on December 10, 1936 to the union of John and Maragret-Woodette Manragh. She moved to the United States 32 years ago.

 

First and foremost, Adlyn was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Early on she became widowed in her marriage to John Singh. She treasured her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a Grandmother. She loved to cook, attend church, as she was a dedicated Baptist, and watch her favorite television shows. She embraced everyone, both family and friends, with love and acceptance. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

 

Adlyn was preceded in death by her husband, John Singh and two brothers, Stanley Manragh and Cyril Manragh, as well as her grandson, Ian Smith. She is survived by her six children, Evadney Singh, Norma Singh, Trevor Singh, Jannett Singh-Thomas, Tony Singh, and Patricia Singh-Thompson. She also leaves behind to mourn 22 grandchildren and great grandchildren, four sisters Mavis Lue, Amy DaCosta, Eva Gallimore, and Olive Peters. 

 

Please join us to celebrate her life on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 12:00 pm at The Church of the Apostles, 3585 Northside Parkway NW., Atlanta, GA 30327. Interment will follow at Morrow Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5 pm - 8 pm.
