Jewel Christine Dearing

Jewel Dearing, of Ellenwood, passed away on January 8, 2018. Her services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 1:00 pm. Rev. James Richter and Pastor Stan Jordan will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends prior to service from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. She is survived by her daughter, Linda D. Schray (Duane) of Ellenwood; son, Thomas W. Dearing (Janice) of Ellenwood; sister, Lorene Pruitt of Gasden, AL.; brothers, Bobby Gene Howell of Stockbridge, James "Tebo" Howell (Maxine) of Stockbridge; 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
