Walter Dan Harris, of Riverdale, passed away on September 26, 2017. A graveside service will be held at Sherwood Memorial Park on Monday, October 2, 2017 at 12:30 pm. The family will be accepting friends at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors prior to service from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. He is survived by his sons, Derrick Harris (Melissa) of Riverdale and Marcus Harris (Jessica) of McDonough; sister, Debra Hall of Stockbridge; brothers, Dale Harris (Debbie) of McDonough and Kelly Harris of McDonough; grandchildren, Garrett McEvoy, Paige McEvoy, Morgan Gaines, Makayla Harris, Zander Harris, Shylin Harris, Gabriel Harris, Leigh Harris, Savannah Floyd, Montana Harris, and Rylee Harris; great grandchild, Maddison and numerous nieces and nephews.
