Julia McGarity

Julia McGarity, of McDonough, passed away on August 26, 2017. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 1:00pm. Rev. Jamie Mattox will be officiating. Entombment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home prior to service from 11am-1pm. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Jo Petitt. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon Waldrop (David) of McDonough, Pat Sheffield (Chip) of Fayetteville, and Debbie McSwain of Athens; son, Dennis Kachelmeier (Elaine) of Canton; 17 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
