Elizabeth Hammond

Elizabeth Hammond, of McDonough, passed away on August 20, 2017. Services will be held at Thomas L. Scroggs Funeral Directors on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 am. Dr. Michael W. Hammond, Sr. and Dr. Tommy Aman will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4pm-8pm. Mrs. Hammond was preceded in death by her son, Phillip Anthony Hammond. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bob Hammond; her daughters, Pamela Hammond Ruff (Jerry) of Cartersville, Marlena Hammond Cook (Jerry) of McDonough, and Linda Hammond Bivens (Mark) of McDonough; sons, Ronnie Hammond (Nita) of McDonough, Dr. Michael W. Hammond, Sr., (Martha) of Stockbridge, and Bruce Hammond (Linda) of McDonough; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Thomas L.
