Lynda Copeland Buckholts

Lynda C. Buckholts of Forest Park, passed away on October 16, 2016. She was a long time member of Forest Park Church of Christ and retired from Babb Middle School Cafeteria. A memorial service will be held at Forest Park Church of Christ on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 4pm. Brother Steve Vice will be officiating. The family will be accepting friends at the church prior to service from 2:30pm-4:00pm. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Pauline Copeland, and her brother, Albert D. Copeland of Valdosta, GA. She is survived by her husband of over 60 years, John E. Buckholts, Sr.; daughters, Cindy Benton(Randy) of Stockbridge and Paula Wood(Bill) of Jonesboro; son, Eddie Buckholts(Celene Kennedy) of Conyers; sister, Lynette Shepherd of Bella Vista, AR.; grandchildren Valerie Chastain (Jake) of Ellijay, Lauren Wood of Jonesboro, Heidi Coker (Elijah) of McDonough, Justin Buckholts (Jessica) of Jackson, Richard Wood (Sara) of Henderson, TN; 3 step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews; and others who affectionately called her Granny.
